Giancarlo Vegni, born in 1949 he studied at The Art School in Cascina. From 1968 to 1975 he works with Ferretti Cucine. And from 1975 starts close partnership with several companies of diversified products in Italy and abroad, including: Effeti Cucine, Edra, Fasem International, Seven, Giovannetti, Casadesús.
Vegni Design is the beginning of his professional career, a career full of important collaborations, awards, achievements. With the Misura collection by Effeti Cucine, Giancarlo signs the first round function block in the kitchen history (1988); the oven called Duetto made by Officine Star participates in the selections for the Compasso d’Oro (1991). Now Vegni Design is a professional team, his works range every field of design, characterized by a neat line and geometric modular forms, the predilection for round shapes, and an exquisite style made in Italy appreciated worldwide.
